I can be pretty dramatic.
The people who truly know me will probably chuckle when they read that sentence because they’re imagining some time when I surprised them with my heightened level of dramatics.
So, for the ones who are aware of my dramatic state of mind and Hollywood-like reactions, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for helping me grow even if it was an incredibly tough situation, for becoming my friend all over again, and for always being so supportive.
Thank you for teaching me how to move on, how to be mature, but also how to still care about people you were once in love with.
Thank you for rescuing me from an incredibly boring future and taking time to tell me hilarious horror stories about working in luxury retail.
Thank you for hosting concerts in my house with me to Stacie Orrico, for listening to my never-ending troubles, and for laughing for hours with me.
Thank you for always being supportive, for loving me so much, and for helping me believe in myself.
Thank you for never giving up on me even if I am the most stubborn person you’ve ever met.
Thank you for being there when I was a kid and for teaching me about values.
Thank you for never showing up in my life because it’s given me insight about necessity.
Thank you for being adorable and for forgiving people immediately when they’ve made you sad.
Thank you for giving me a chance to learn about professionalism, mentorship, and tough situations.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to learn and grow.
Thank you for being an enclosed space where I can hide myself away with books, little lights, and a pen.
And, finally, thank goodness for the parts of the world that always feed my soul.
