Halfway Through Blogging: Give Me More Feedback!

blogging, writing, social media, connecting

Thanks to everyone who’s been reading my posts over the past nine weeks!

I’m halfway through my Brandkit journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue blogging!  As someone who was new to the blogosphere, social media madness, and the communication world just a few months back, I’ve been so delighted for all of the opportunities I’ve been given. I’ve enjoyed writing not only for the Next Step Chronicles, but also for quite a few other sites!

Blogging really does create opportunities!

Besides the amazing relationships you’re able to grow with website creators and brand developers, your online portfolio will expand as well.  When potential employers ask if you have writing experience, you can to point them to specific URL’s on the web and direct them to your best writing.  When you reach out to other sites to blog for, you can direct them as well to share writing samples.

My experience writing for the Next Step Chronicles can be summed up with one word: fun!  Most of the other guest posting I do is more data driven, research oriented, or focuses on a specific topic area. But, with Brandkit, I’ve been given a lot of freedom to share my voice exactly how I’d like to!  It’s been fun to share my posts with family and friends and to see their reactions each week as I tackle a new article. I’m not sure my posts are the best content to reflect my writing skills, but they are a great way to share my personality and hopes and dreams with the world.  Sometimes an outlet to do just that is a necessity!

During the next half of my Next Step Chronicles, I’d love more feedback from you, the readers!

Please leave comments, tweet me (@sarahfudin), or find me on Facebook! Whatever media you feel most comfortable reaching out with, I’d love to hear your feedback.  I’d also love to hear your stories if they pertain to a particular post.  The next half of my chronicles will fall during the joyous holiday season and into the New Year. As I look ahead, I’m excited to develop my voice a bit more and share some more adventures!

What tips do you have so far for me? Bring ‘em on! I’m excited!
